Vernon Vipers

vipers head to the coast

by viper staff | Added 2009-11-16 | Back

With a very successful parents weekend all wrapped up the Vipers have said goodbye to their families and will hit the road for games in Powell River, Surrey, Langley and Burnaby.

The Vipers will depart from Vernon first thing Tuesday morning for their longest bus ride of the season, a 12 hour trip to Powell River. The Kings have been waiting to see Vernon again since the Vipers and Kings faced each other in the BCHL Finals back in April when Vernon defeated Powell River in six games to claim the Fred Page Cup. Powell River (27-13-9-1-4), currently fourth in the Coastal Conference, still have a very strong defensive squad and will be looking to take a couple points from the Vernon Vipers. The Kings will host the Vipers Wednesday night at the Powell River Recreational Complex.

The Vipers will then have Thursday off before they play their next three games in as many days. Surrey will host Vernon on Friday night then the Vipers will head to the brand new Langley Events Centre on Saturday night and will wrap up there trip on Sunday in Burnaby.

Listen to all Vipers games on 107.5 Kiss fm with the voice of the Vipers Todd Miller or follow along live through the BCHL Pay Per View thought the BCHL FanZone.

Game Schedule
Wednesday at Powell River 7:00pm
Friday at Surrey 7:00pm
Saturday at Langley 7:00pm
Sunday at Burnaby 2:30pm

All broadcast will start 15 minutes prior to puck drop.
