by viper staff | Added 2010-01-28 | Back

13 year old Seaton student and aspiring hockey player Lannie Houle ran the Olympic Torch into Polson Park Tuesday afternoon and lit the cauldron for the final leg of the torch relay in Vernon. Lannie said it was a moment she will never forget and she will continue to share her Olympic moment at the Vernon Vipers game this Friday night as she will come onto the ice to drop the puck.

The Vipers will host Powell River on Friday night and Langley on Saturday night. Tickets are on sale now at the Vipers Office or fans can reserve by phone at 250-542-6022, both games start at 7pm. Meet Lannie, see the torch and cheer on your Vernon Vipers this weekend at the Wesbild Centre!
