Vernon Vipers Tie Up Series

The Vernon Vipers didn’t want to go back to Penticton trailing the series 3-games-to-1, so they knew tonight was going to have to be a total team effort and that’s what they got. The Vipers downed the Penticton Vees in game four of the Interior Conference Final 3-zip to tie the seres up at two games apiece. Jagger Williamson earned second star honours with a two goal performance while Darion Hanson earned the first star for shutting out the high flying Vees with 32 saves. Riley Brandt dished out a number of big hits and set up one goal to earn 3rd star honours. Jesse Lansdell who scored an empty net goal late in the 3rd period was awarded the Energy Player Of The Game.

The Vipers will now travel to Penticton to face the Vees in game 5 on Friday and will return home for what could be the deciding game for either team on Saturday at 7pm at Kal Tire Place.
