Vipers Host Chilliwack Chiefs 10-19-16

Vernon, B.C.  October 18, 2016 – The Vernon Vipers host the Chilliwack Chiefs Wednesday, October 18th at Kal Tire Place.  This will be part two of a home and home series between the two teams. The last time they played (Saturday, October 15th) the Vipers were routed 7-2 as the Chiefs improved their record to 9 wins, 3 losses and one overtime loss for 19 points and sole possession of 2nd place in the Mainland Division.

The Vernon Vipers have slipped to 6 wins, 5 losses and a pair of overtime losses for 14 points and now sit in 3rd place in the Interior Division 8 points back of first place for Penticton. The Vipers have scored 43 goals so far this season.

No word if Mitchell Oliver will be in the lineup for the Chiefs. The former Viper defenceman was traded right before the last game with Chilliwack for forward Jesse Lansdell. Lansdell was kept off the scoreboard but recorded six minutes in penalties.
