Vipers Open Home & Home Series

PENTICTON, B.C.   NOVEMBER 11, 2016
The Vernon Vipers will cap off a 4-game road trip Friday night in Penticton as they battle the Interior Division leading Vees for the second time this season and first time at the SOEC.  The Vipers have lost 3 in a row heading into the matchup and are looking to push the refresh button on the month of November. There were positives to take out of all three games, but at times the games just seemed to slip away. The team must find its consistency to turn this trip around.
The Vees have put a tidy 3 game winning streak together after a blip in Wenatchee. The Vees are 8-2-0-0 in their last 10 games. Here is the breakdown:

Record:
Vipers 9-10-2-0 (3rd in INT division)       Vees 18-3-0-0 (1st in INT division)

Leading Scorers:
1. Jagger Williamson 5G 12A 17 Pts            1. Nick Jones 7G 17A 24 Pts
2. Jimmy Lambert 5G 10A 15 Pts                2. Grant Cruikshank 16G 5A 21 Pts
3. Steven Jandric 7G 5A 12 Pts                    3. Ty Amonte 6G 13A 19 Pts

Special Teams:
Vipers PP (6th) – 25.6% PK (8th) – 79.8%        Vees PP (15th) – 15.6% PK (10th) – 77.8%

The Vees hold a 4-2 victory over the Vipers at KTP in October and the Vipers will look to even it up. This is the first of a home and home between these two teams, with the back half going Saturday at 6pm at Kal Tire Place.
You can catch all the action between the Vipers and the Vees starting at 6:45 for the pregame show and the play by play with Graham Turnbull starting at 7 on 107.5 KissFM and HockeyTV.
