Yamnitsky Defeats Former Team

WENATCHEE, WA  SEPTEMBER 16th, 2017

Anthony Yamnitsky received a big applause as he took to familar ice to face off against the Wenatchee Wild.  Yamnitsky was steller in goal as he stopped 32 of 33 shots against his former team, making several big stops to give the Vipers a 5-1 victory. Yamnitsky was named the game’s 2nd star.

Brett Stapley had a pair of goals to pace the offense while Chris Jandric pitched in with two helpers and earned first star honours. Keyvan Mokhtari tallied a shorthanded highlight goal to help the snakes win their fourth straight game of the season.

The team continued to take some penalties but they were perfect on the PK, killing off all nine Wild powerplays.
