The Vipers make their second visit of the season to the Nicola Valley Arena are coming off a 3-1 loss to the visiting Salmon Arm Silverbacks Saturday night. Vernon sits in 6th place eleven points back of Salmon Arm for the 4th and final playoff spot. The Vipers have won four of their last seven road games but have won just three of their last eight games overall. Merritt took the last two meetings between these two teams in a home and home series just before Christmas where the Cents outscored the Vipers 11-1 on both games. These two teams will meet again in Merritt on February, 15th

The Centennials are coming off a 5-3 loss to the visiting Nanaimo Clippers Saturday night, snapping their three game winning streak. Tonight is the second and final game of a mini two game home stand before Merritt hits the road for three games. The 2nd place Centennials have won six of their last eight home games are just three points up on 3rd place West Kelowna. Merritt has won three of their last five games and are 6-2-0-2 in their last ten games.
