Vipers @ Warriors Pre-Game Report

WEST KELOWNA, B.C. NOVEMBER 18, 2016
The Vernon Vipers will look to build on a positive result from Wednesday night as they prepare to take on the defending National Champion West Kelowna Warriors at Royal LePage Place on Friday. The Vipers got off to a hot start with 4 goals in the opening 20 minutes and were able to steer home a 5-2 win over the Langley Rivermen.

The Vipers are 4-6 in their last 10 games, but have won 2 of their last 3. The Snakes do own a win over the Tribe at Royal LePage Place back on Oct. 8.
The Warriors have had their share of consistency issues this season. Much like the Vipers, the Warriors come in with a 4-6 record in their last 10 games. They’ve lost 2 in a row being outscored 11-4. However, the Warriors look to have taken advantage of a break in the schedule.

By the time the puck drops on Friday night, they will have been off for 8 days and Rylan Ferster will have his team prepped and ready for a big divisional battle with Vernon.
Here’s the breakdown:

Record:
Vipers 11-11-2-0 (3rd in INT division)      Warriors 9-11-1-0 (6th in INT division)

Leading Scorers:
1. Jagger Williamson 5G 15A 20 Pts          1. Quin Foreman 14G 15A 29 Pts
2. Niko Karamanis 9G 6A 15 Pts                2. Connor Sodergren 8G 12A 20 Pts
3. Jimmy Lambert 5G 10A 15 Pts               3. Reed Gunville 9G 5A 14 Pts

The two teams have split the season series thus far will all the games being played in West Kelowna. Game 4 of the 7 game season series heads back to Vernon on December 2nd.

You can catch all the action starting at 6:45 with the pregame show from Royal LePage Place with voice of the Vipers Graham Turnbull, on 107.5 KissFM or HockeyTV.
